Terms Commonly Used - What Does That Mean?

All these fireworks are available in different sizes
and with different effects and colours
usually with bangs, whistles, hummers, or crackles.
For a good display select a mixture of different effects,
The multi-packs are already mixed for you
and represent good value for money.

Rockets
These will need to be fired away from the spectators,
with consideration for where the stick and case will fall,
from a Rocket Launch Tube. (Supplied where needed)
Also available in double or triple effect bursts.
Our Giant Rocket features colour change stars,
spinners, reports and cascades.

Wheels
These need to be attached to a wooden support and are usually supplied
with a nail for fixing. Wheels rotate, sending out a circular spiral of flame and sparks.

Bangers
Small firework that produces a single bang. Popular with the under 20’s.

Fountains
These ground fireworks shoot up crackling effects.
Producing a fountain of sparks in various colours. Fountains do not normally bang.
The Giant Mammoth Conic Ejects colour and Crackle to 20 feet.

Roman Candles
These fireworks shoot high before exploding.
They are mostly fountains, but also produce several individual flaming
and bursting effects, sometimes bangs.

Airbombs
A Multi-fire firework, sending each shot skybound independently
before it explodes at the top.
Usually ejecting one or more balls into the air
that explode with a very loud bang.
Twin airbombs produce two bangs!

Salvos
These are the loud ones that set off the car alarms...fun!!

Barrage/Battery
Normally larger fireworks producing a whole array of effects.
Most batteries are very very loud.

Mortars/Shells
A mortar tube is buried deep into the earth and the shell (3-4 inch ball) is lowered inside.
Each Shell ejects with a huge bang. Each mortar tube fires a maximum of three shells.

Cake
A Multi-Shot Cake will contain a variety of effects.
From 15 up to 50 or more from one lighting.
These can also be bought with a theme, usually bangs whistles or crackles.

Mine
A mixture of crackle and colour effects with airbombs.
Each mine produces a coloured fountain and terminates with a huge bang and flash.

Crackers
Absolutely mind blowing! A very loud firework producing either 250, 500 or 1000 bangs!
